Rickshaws are a common mode of transport in India. They are a combination of a bicycle and a draw cart. The benefit is of a no pollution mode of transport in the already choked airs of Indian cities and employment opportunity for the poor. It does come across as inhuman when the Indian sun raises the temperatures to 35 celcius and above. The rickshaw puller has little or no protection from the elements.
