This painting clarified a new direction. It started with an impression of squares falling. At first all edges were hard, but it felt too static. It came together when I blurred them to create a sense of motion and speed.
From the beginning, there was a strong need to saturate the image with warmth.
The title refers to the white line rising upwards. It suggested connection with an inspiring force, particularly relevant as the image arrived so spontaneously.
