This is a work showing the male figure having strong masculine features yet is hiding his own face. This expresses the hidden emotions that a man holds within himself. Reality is shown through his feelings where there is nothing left to hide because what he feels within his soul is finds its ultimate expression through his body. The figure is used to speak its own language without showing the face which is the easiest way in which one can read the feelings of the person - through the eyes, as the eyes are the window to the soul.
